Fortnite – Llama-Rama
It’s finally time folks! The day of reckoning is at hand as the crowd-favourite Rocket League goes free-to-play opening its gates to a sea of new players. But wait, there’s more. It seems that Santa has arrived early this year with loads of goodies for the gaming community.
In honour to celebrate this massive launch, Rocket League plans to team-up with Fortnite, giving players from both communities access to exclusive goodies. We will be discussing shortly what’s in store, but first of all, let’s sit back and enjoy this moment. Years from now, gamers will look back at this as one of the most memorable events in history and say, ‘’At least something good came out of 2020’’.
When and Where is Llama-Rama?
Let’s talk dates. The Llama-Rama is set to run for a little over two weeks, giving you players ample time to bag those sweet, sweet goodies. The event begins on Saturday, 26th September till Monday, 12th October.
Here is a list of all the time zones marking the beginning of the event:
- Europe: 11 pm (West Europe/CEST)
- UK: 10pm (UK/BST)
- West Coast US: 2pm (/West Coast US/PDT)
- East Coast US: 5 pm (EDT/East Coast US)
According to the Internet, the Llama-Rama is set to arrive with the conclusion of the DJ-Slushii event. However, whether it lands before or after the party hasn’t been confirmed – but who cares? The event is inevitable and will be nothing short of a blast when it finally reaches the servers.
What can you expect from Llama-Rama?
So what can you expect in the following update? Firstly, Rocket League is going free-to-play, so you’ll be getting lots of new players to flex those skills you’ve been practising night after night.
Secondly, Rocket League is also introducing a new battle pass, aka the ‘’Rocket Pass’’. It’s like every other battle pass where you’ll unlock cool cosmetics as you progress through the game.
Prepare yourself with 70 tiers of unlockable goodies, starting with the Harbinger which is unlocked as soon as you purchase the pass. The vehicle gets visual upgrades as you progress through the levels by completing various challenges.
So if you haven’t been playing the game, this sounds like a great time to get started.
Llama Rama Event Challenges and Rewards
Now that part you’ve all been waiting for this whole time. The question that has been tormenting you since you heard the news, ‘’What do I get and how do I get it?’’
You can unlock five rewards in both games for a total of 10 and to do so, and you’ll have to complete five challenges.
